About the Acupuncturist
Jamie Galvin is a Licensed Acupuncturist with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Biology at Elms College and enjoyed a career in scientific research until earning her Master's of Acupuncture Degree in Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture at the renowned New England School of Acupuncture in 2011.
She opened Galvin Acupuncture in 2012 after recognizing a need to bring alternative therapies to Canton and the surrounding community. She practices Chinese and Japanese styles of Acupuncture, Electro-stimulation Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping, and Gua Sha therapies. Jamie has advanced training in Fertility for Men and Women, Acupuncture for Assisted Reproductive Therapy, Pelvic Floor Acupuncture and Pediatrics.
For parents interested in introducing their children to Traditional Oriental Medicine but are concerned about needles, Jamie uses a gentle, non-needle technique called shonishin and vibrational healing techniques using tuning forks.
